Understanding the serial number on your machine is paramount in finding the correct parts. As the years progress and our products change with the times, older machines with the same model may occasionally have different parts than our newest version of that model. Our parts manuals have the serial numbers listed next to any parts that we have changed. Use this guide to help identify your serial number, how it applies to the part numbers in your manual, and ensure you are ordering the correct parts for your Progressive mower.

The first two numbers are always the year that the machine was built. The next set of numbers tells you the model number, as listed in the chart below. The last set of numbers is the machine build number; the example shown is the 214th mower built.
Model CodeMachine Model
65TD65 Tri-Deck Mower(15')
65-2TD65-2 Tri-Deck Mower(12')
92TD92 Tri-Deck Mower(22')
36Pro-Max 36 Extension Mower(36')
27Pro-flex 120 Contour Mower(10')
15TDR15 Roller Mower(15')
91TDR22 Roller Mower(22')
365SDR-65 Single Deck Roller Mower
390SDR-90 Single Deck Roller Mower
Utilizing the chart and your serial number, finding the correct part number in the parts book should be simpler.

In the above example, if your machine was built between 1991 and 1993 (and within the specified machine numbers), you must order part #521300. However, if your machine was built after 1993 machine #276, then you must order part #521773. Only parts that have changed over time are listed like this in your manual. In the example of a serial number near the top of this page (0865214), you must order part #521773, as this machine was built in 2008.
